Meanwhile, Borah didn't have quite enough to beat Owyhee on Thursday and fell 4-3. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Storm recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Borah also got a good showing from Jack Meimann, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Brady Robinson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Boise's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Borah, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
