Prospect Ridge Academy has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Highland Huskies at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Prospect Ridge Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-30 loss to Elizabeth. While losing is never fun, Prospect Ridge Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while Elizabeth is ranked 66th).
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kayah Robbins, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Webster, who scored 6 points along with 5 steals.
Meanwhile, Highland came up short against Colorado Academy on Saturday and fell 58-50. Highland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rifle's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Prospect Ridge Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 0-2.
