Kip Brigham's big game helped extend Wahoo's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Brigham as he rushed for 183 yards and six touchdowns on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Blake Welchert Delivers Best Performance of Season
Blake Welchert produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fort Calhoun to the win on Friday. Welchert rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.
Unfortunately for Concordia, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Welchert. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Welchert saw the Mustangs), he rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns.

Douglas County West Gets a Boost from Bohlen in 14-8 Win
Kelan Bohlen posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 110 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
On the year, Bohlen has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 141.3 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 87.43 passing yards per game.
