The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Floyd Central has scored all season.
Loss or not, Floyd Central got some senior leadership from Brody Buck who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and Braden Moore who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The match was Moore's ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie Samons, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Floyd Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Chattanooga Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Floyd Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Landrum at 2:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Chattanooga Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Boyd-Buchanan at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
