The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for New Lothrop in their matchups with Durand: they've now lost five in a row.
Markell Tate was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with four steals for Durand. The matchup was Tate's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Levi Smith, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
New Lothrop's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-5. As for Durand, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
