Marysville-Pilchuck extended the longest winning streak in 3A Wesco - North this week by beating Stanwood, 69-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Tomahawks.
Marysville-Pilchuck led the league in scoring this week after putting up 69 points on the Spartans.
Oak Harbor's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ian Kolste threw for 241 and four touchdowns and JoJo Webster had 142 yards receiving. On the ground Fred Webster chipped in 111 yards. Isaiah Trower helped Oak Harbor's passing attack out by catching three balls for 70 yards.
Oak Harbor's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kolste has thrown for 844 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Webster has 25 catches for 495 yards. Webster leads the league in rushing with 633 yards.
A big matchup in 3A Wesco - North this week will be when Marysville Getchell takes on the Wildcats. At the moment, Marysville Getchell is in third, while Oak Harbor is in first.
