Despite the loss, Northridge saw an underclassman step up: Ava Travis scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Comisford, who scored four points.
Northridge has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Johnstown-Monroe, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
Northridge will be playing at home against Lakewood at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Lakewood is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Johnstown-Monroe, they will head out on the road to challenge Heath at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
