The Lincoln Trojans waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 67-59 win over Lodi. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Anthony Moore, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Quentin Thompson, who scored 11 points.
Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Lodi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.
Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northgate at 6:30 p.m. on January 27th. Hopefully Northgate focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Wednesday. As for Lodi, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tracy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
