Leeds's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Carver Birmingham Rams a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Greenwave, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Nash Jones made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Jones was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Jacob Calvin was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Ty Bedell was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.

Leeds always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .542. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carver Birmingham only posted an OBP of .364.

With the victory, Leeds broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 17-8. As for Carver Birmingham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

Leeds will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rams: the pair will be back at it again later today.
