Basketball Recap: Orr's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Orr waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against Legal Prep as they made off with a 57-34 win. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

Orr got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Damarion Johnson out in front who went 5 of 11 on his way to 11 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayvon Holman, who posted nine points.

Legal Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Romello Johnson, who put up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Javon Phillips, who had eight points.

Orr's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Legal Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Orr didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-67 victory against Raby on the 10th. As for Legal Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-16 win against Douglass on the 10th.
