The Newfane Panthers were the 34-25 winner over the Wilson Lakemen when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Newfane fell just short of Wilson by a score of 36-34. Newfane has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Newfane lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Nathan Snow. Despite the final result, he rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 260 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Dickinson, who picked up 157 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Newfane's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Wilson, the victory was the fourth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Newfane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wilson is also done with their season.
