On Tuesday, the Ridgeline Falcons faced the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ridgeline was the victim of a rough 81-61 loss at the hands of Gonzaga Prep. Ridgeline has struggled against Gonzaga Prep recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Easton Amend and Caden Andreas certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Amend scored 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Andreas scored 12 points along with three steals. Brayden Allen was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Ridgeline's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Gonzaga Prep, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will take on Ferris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferris will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Ridgeline is ranked fifth). As for Gonzaga Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Valley has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
