The Quincy Jackrabbits waltzed into their matchup Saturday with four straight wins but they left with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Brewster 96-61 at home. Quincy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Quincy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pierce Bierlink led the charge by scoring 35 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Bierlink has scored at least 25% of Quincy's points. julian Ibarra was another key contributor, scoring 23 points.
Quincy pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Brewster, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-7 record last season and are now at 1-4.
Quincy will head out on the road to face off against Cascade at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cascade comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Brewster and Reardan will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
