The Hooker Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Turpin on the road to the tune of 65-27. The win was just business as usual for Hooker, who after six games remain undefeated this season.
Turpin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carson Peters, who scored nine points. Bryson Parker was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Hooker's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Turpin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
Hooker will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Gracemont at 2:00 p.m. on January 4th. Gracemont has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 14. As for Turpin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beaver at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaver will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while Turpin is ranked 131st).
