Chloe Perritt made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Raegan Burge looked comfortable as she pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Aubrey Howe was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlin Yearick, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Coming up, Horseheads will head out on the road to challenge Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waverly, they will square off against Addison at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
