Lodi is 9-1 against Tokay since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Flames will challenge the Tigers at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Lodi and Franklin, and Lodi kept the tradition alive. The Flames came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 7-2 on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Flames as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lodi got a great performance from Harlow Padilla as she pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Padilla has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bailey Nelson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Isabella Pantoja also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Lodi was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Tokay ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past West 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since May 1, 2025.
Brooklyn Schaede made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 20 batters over ten innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Schaede was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sophia Galletti, who earned three runs and two stolen bases. Anabelle Sikich was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
The victory got Lodi back to even at 3-3-1. As for Tokay, the win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-5.
Everything went Lodi's way against Tokay when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Lodi made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Flames since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
