Meanwhile, Sebastian River's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Oxbridge Academy by a score of 45-32.
Vero Beach's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Sebastian River, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Everything came up roses for Vero Beach against Sebastian River in their previous meeting back in February of 2019 as the team secured a 81-51 victory. With Vero Beach ahead 45-21 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
