Seaman entered their tilt with Piper on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Pirates. Considering the Vikings have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Seaman's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Piper, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaman will venture away from home to face off against Blue Springs South at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piper, they will square off against Shawnee Mission North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
