Breiton Whitmire Dazzles in Cedar Catholic Victory
Cedar Catholic picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Breiton Whitmire. Whitmire turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 160 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Cedar Catholic's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. They and Norfolk Catholic are set to duel on Friday.

Sylas Nelson Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Oakland-Craig had to settle for second even though Sylas Nelson put up the best numbers he has all season. Nelson rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Oakland-Craig's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. Nelson and Oakland-Craig will host West Point-Beemer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Isaak Maxwell Makes It Two for Oakland-Craig
