Dawson School's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles with a sharp 5-1 win. Considering Dawson School have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kanoe Bihag and Hannah Johnson scored all five of Dawson School's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 26 goals.

Dawson School's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four games. As for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-4.

Coming up, Dawson School will welcome Gilpin County at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Gilpin County's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Dawson School's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, they will head out to challenge Nederland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
