New Hope lost to North Jackson  back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The result came thanks to  Ella Baswell's shutout, as she gave up just four  hits and racked up seven Ks. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March of 2024.

 New Hope will host Kate Duncan Smith DAR  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. This will be Kate Duncan Smith DAR's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Jackson, they are headed away from home for the first time to  take on  North Sand Mountain  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
