Shepard barely beat Kennedy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Astros were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Crusaders on Saturday. Considering the Astros have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Shepard's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-2. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shepard will venture away from home to take on Oak Lawn at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Astros' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Kennedy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hubbard at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
