After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sun Valley, West Stanly was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Anson Bearcats. That five goal margin sets a new team best for West Stanly this season.

West Stanly's win bumped their record up to 4-8-1. As for Anson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Stanly will challenge Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Anson, they will welcome Forest Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
