Lewis Angapak lost against Nelson Island in their previous head to head back in March, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 90-51 score last time.
Brennan Lincoln went supernova for Nelson Island, scoring 41 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lincoln has scored at least 25% of Nelson Island's points. Zachary Angaiak was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds.
Lewis Angapak bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Nelson Island, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Lewis Angapak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nelson Island's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kwigillingok at 3:30 p.m. on December 16th.
