While Gilbert Christian's victory against Arizona College Prep wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Gilbert Christian narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Arizona College Prep 54-51. The victory was nothing new for Gilbert Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.

Gilbert Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Abrahamson, who shot 56% from the field en route to 15 points. Abrahamson also put up a block, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Colin Burke, who posted 12 points in addition to seven assists and three steals.

Gilbert Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Arizona College Prep, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
