The Northwest Christian Crusaders came tearing into Wednesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 57-45 win over Fountain Hills. This was payback for Northwest Christian, who suffered a 60-48 loss the last time these two teams met.
Fountain Hills' loss came despite strong showings from Matthew Heaney and Ahren Lloyd. Heaney scored 18 points along with five rebounds, while Lloyd scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Barnard, who scored eight points.
Northwest Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Fountain Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-9.

Bourgade Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 295th, while Fountain Hills is ranked 125th).
