Basketball Recap: H-L-V Takes a Loss

H-L-V lost against North Mahaska back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The H-L-V Warriors took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Mahaska Warhawks. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

H-L-V's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Mahaska, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. H-L-V will challenge B-G-M at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. H-L-V is facing B-G-M at the right time seeing as B-G-M is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North Mahaska, they will square off against Lynnville-Sully at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in North Mahaska's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
