A Season-Best Effort from Scout Silva Leads Turlock over Downey
On Friday, Turlock got the W thanks in part to Scout Silva playing the best football he has all season. Silva rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win was the fourth in a row for Turlock, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Silva and Turlock are taking a road trip to take on Modesto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Vasquez Made His Presence Known in Gregori's 36-18 Victory
Gregori found a leader in Emmanuel Vasquez as the team took down Modesto on Friday. Vasquez did his part (and then some), throwing for 186 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushing for 32 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles.
For the year, Vasquez has thrown 16 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 34.81 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 79.53 passer rating.

Vanntheesouk Dam Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Vanntheesouk Dam put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (107.5) per game.
For the year, Dam has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 107.5 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 36.13 rushing yards per game.

Noah Sacuskie Turns in Season-Best Performance
Downey came up short on Friday despite Noah Sacuskie delivering his best game to date. Sacuskie wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks, forcing a fumble, and making ten total tackles. The contest was his eighth straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.
With the loss, Downey broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1. Sacuskie and Downey will take on Enochs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
