There's no place like home for the Cassopolis Rangers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 53-27 margin over Bangor. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cassopolis also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Leading Cassopolis to victory were Mackenzie Boyer and Atyanna Alford. Boyer scored 15 points along with six rebounds, while Alford dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Janayla Franklin, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Cassopolis pushed their record up to 1-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bangor, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Cassopolis will head out on the road to face off against White Pigeon at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. As for Bangor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coloma at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
