Even if they lost, Mansfield Legacy's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Jaden Manning was especially locked on to Rockwall-Heath's QB and sacked him twice.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Crowley). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Rockwall 70-17 on the road. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Panthers just coasted through the last quarter.
Mansfield Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Crowley, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
