The Westfield Blue Devils have more to be thankful for after their game against the Plainfield Cardinals on Thursday. Westfield strolled past Plainfield with points to spare, taking the game 28-9. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Westfield also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was Max Cho, who threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Joel Cordoba and Yasir Wyatt certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Cordoba picked up 135 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Wyatt rushed for 66 yards.
Westfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Plainfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
Westfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Plainfield also has no future games currently scheduled.
