The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Lincoln, who defeated 284th ranked Enterprise, 26-14. Bryce Temple ran for 117 yards and caught 1 pass for 26 yards during the win.
Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A Region 7 this week, East Marion beat Amite County 55-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Eagles.
Johnathan Abram threw for 109 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 5-10 with 1 interception.
Kristopher Newson was the best wideout in the league this week as East Marion bested the Trojans. Newson tallied 3 receptions for 65 yards. Jaylin Akins helped East Marion's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 54 yards.
East Marion's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Abram has thrown for 1,166 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Newson has 15 catches for 395 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place East Marion takes on second place Bassfield. Last week, Kevin Jackson's team beat Amite County, while Bassfield topped Loyd Star.
