The Tahlequah Tigers lost against the Stillwater Pioneers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Tahlequah had to suffer through a rough 55-14 loss at the hands of Stillwater. Tahlequah was already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.
Holden Thompson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 343 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Acord, who threw for 109 yards and three touchdowns.
Tahlequah's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Stillwater, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Tahlequah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stillwater will play host again and welcome Muskogee, where Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
