Peetz's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Milla Panduro, who  posted eight  points and five  steals. Those  five  steals gave  Panduro a new career-high.
 Even though they lost, Peetz  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 17  offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in eight consecutive  games.
  Haylee Nelson had an outrageously good game for Weldon Valley as she  dropped  a double-double with 13 points and 13  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Annie Onufrak, who  scored five  points in addition to nine  rebounds and five  steals.
Peetz's record now sits at 4-18. As for Weldon Valley, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record  this season.
 Peetz wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  49-47  victory against Bethune on the 1st. As for Weldon Valley, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  52-34  defeat against Lone Star on the 1st.
