The Ojai school put up 27 points in the first quarter en route to the win. The Rangers scored on a touchdown pass by Workman to Lara, a touchdown run, a Workman touchdown pass to Lara and a
Jake Kunde touchdown run in the quarter.
Nordhoff's standout player in the win was Workman. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
NHS had given up an average of 11.2 points prior to the contest. The Dons' zero points were well below their season average of 32.0 per game. Sierra Vista came in giving up 15.1 points per game this season. SV struggled against the Rangers' offense, which entered the game scoring 38.5 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Sierra Vista, which notched a 37-6 victory over Azusa in its previous outing.
