Burton Adventist Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jadon Henderson out in front who scored 22 points along with three steals. Henderson is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Xavier Odongo, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Heritage Christian Academy had strong showings from Jabin Carter, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals, and Timothy Reyes, who scored eight points along with four steals. Reyes hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Carson Hicks was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Burton Adventist Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Heritage Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
Burton Adventist Academy will take on the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against the Angels at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
