Reeltown's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amelia Nicholas, who scored eight points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was London O'Neal, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Even though they lost, Reeltown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Reeltown's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.6 points per game. As for Horseshoe Bend, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
