If the Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors were feeling good off their 37-11 takedown of the School of the Woods Wildcats last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Annapolis Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 56-24 loss at the hands of the Falcons. Annapolis Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Lifegate Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anelyna Cavazos out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds. Cavazos is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elena Mendez, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Annapolis Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Lifegate Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Annapolis Christian Academy will take on the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sunnybrook Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Lifegate Christian, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th.
