Castle barely beat Evansville Memorial the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Tigers on Tuesday. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Emma Bruggenschmidt was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Pickard, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Castle's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Evansville Memorial, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-6.
