Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oakwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaydah Arrowsmith, who scored 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Arrowsmith has scored at least a third of Oakwood's points. Gracie Hanner was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Oakwood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-17. As for Iroquois West, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season.
Oakwood will be playing in front of their home fans against the Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salt Fork is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 12 games. As for Iroquois West, they will head out on the road to take on the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milford is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
