The Calvary Christian Warriors waltzed into their matchup Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 63-41 margin over Clearwater. That 63-41 margin sets a new team best for Calvary Christian this season.
Calvary Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ace Taylor, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Ethan Sabec, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
The victory got Calvary Christian back to even at 7-7. As for Clearwater, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 7-7.
Calvary Christian is on the road again on Thursday and play against Canterbury at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. Clearwater won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gateway Charter at 4:00 p.m. on January 6th. One thing working in Gateway Charter's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests.
