The Marbury Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their 14-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 58-32 margin over Holtville. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Marbury has managed all season.
Marbury got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was DJ Graham out in front who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jamar Brown, who scored 17 points.
Marbury's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9. As for Holtville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
