Warwick got a massive performance out of Lorenza Brennie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Brennie has posted since back in April. Emily Romig also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Valley Central earned a 10-6 victory over Newburgh Free Academy on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Goldbacks: they've now won five in a row.
Emily Sharpe made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. Sharpe was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrianna Ferraro, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
