Franklin County is 0-6 against Page since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Franklin County Rebels will head out on the road to face off against the Page Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Franklin County fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took down Spring Hill 39-22 on Thursday.
Franklin County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Farris, who rushed for 98 yards and three touchdowns. Kai Baker and his 107 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Franklin County's victory.
Meanwhile, Page entered their tilt with Nolensville with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Page breezed by Nolensville at home to the tune of 45-14. The result was nothing new for Page, who have now won six contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Page can attribute much of their success to Ethan Cunningham, who rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Franklin County to 3-7 and Page to 9-1.
Franklin County might still be hurting after the 36-14 loss they got from Page in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Can Franklin County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
