There's no place like home for the Oak Hills Highlanders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to Colerain for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-26 win at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-10.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oak Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nate Riep, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Henry Maginn, who scored 11 points.
Oak Hills now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Colerain, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hills will take on Sycamore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sycamore will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Colerain, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. Hamilton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Colerain in Ohio (Hamilton is ranked 64th, while Colerain is ranked 531st).
