Halls has gone a perfect 10-0 against Knoxville Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Devils will take on the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Halls has six straight wins, Knoxville Central has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Halls proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Karns 4-2.
Alle Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Mackenzie Baker was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Adrie Johnston, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
Halls hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Knoxville Central suffered their closest defeat since May 9, 2025 on Saturday. They fell just short of Ooltewah by a score of 7-5.
Player #42 was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Player #5 was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
Knoxville Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Halls, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Halls hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Knoxville Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .319. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Halls' way against Knoxville Central in their previous meeting back in March, as Halls made off with an 11-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
