Even though they lost, Big Pasture didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with nine strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Apache only tossed four.
Apache's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Big Pasture, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.
Apache will play host again on Thursday to welcome Eisenhower, where first pitch is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. Apache is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.9 runs per game this season. As for Big Pasture, they will head out on the road to square off against Grandfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
