For Buhach Colony, this counts as revenge for the 49-41 defeat Pacheco walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Buhach Colony found their leader in underclassman Carter Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Chapman's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Garcia, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
The victory got Buhach Colony back to even at 5-5. As for Pacheco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.
Buhach Colony will take on Justin Garza in a holiday battle at 8:15 p.m. on Friday at. One thing working in Justin Garza's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
