Craigmont has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Millington Central Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Craigmont ended up a good deal behind Brighton and lost 43-27.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Millington Central's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a tough blow as they fell 75-59 to Jasper. While losing is never fun, Millington Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 183rd in Tennessee, while Jasper is ranked ninth in Alabama).
Craigmont has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Millington Central, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Craigmont lost to Millington Central on the road by a decisive 39-22 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Craigmont avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
