Pymatuning Valley has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Harding Skippers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Pymatuning Valley beat Lakeside 72-68. The victory was just what Pymatuning Valley needed coming off of a 93-66 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Harding lost to Badger on the road by a decisive 75-61 margin on Tuesday.
Despite their loss, Harding saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. James Gadomski, who scored 26 points, was perhaps the best of all. Gadomski scored a full 42.6% of Harding's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Parsons, who scored 17 points.
Pymatuning Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Harding, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.
Everything came up roses for Pymatuning Valley against Harding when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 77-33 victory. Will Pymatuning Valley repeat their success, or does Harding have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
